- Provides a scheme and guidelines for expressing EDID information via Receiver Capabilities
Why does it matter?
- Receivers associated with Outputs that provide EDID may need to present its contents to Controllers
How does it work?
- Describes how each EDID section is translated into Receiver Capabilities
- Gives recommendations regarding taking certain EDID sections into account
BCP-005-01 has been developed by the Advanced Media Workflow Association as part of the Networked Media Open Specifications initiative. See here for an overview of NMOS specifications.
The NMOS Testing Tool creates a simple web service for testing implementations of all NMOS APIs.
